6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is slashing .304/.448/.783 over his last seven games heading into the team's series opener against the Pirates Monday night. The Angels will host Pittsburgh in an interleague series and Trout has enjoyed great success at home this season. Through 53 home games this season, Trout is slashing .282/.435/.674 with 15 doubles, 18 home runs, 40 runs scored and 40 runs batted in this season. Trout is in the midst of perhaps his best offensive season of his career, slashing .297/.439/.668 with 27 doubles, 39 home runs, 90 walks, 91 runs scored and 92 runs batted in with seven weeks in the season to play.--Joey C - RotoBaller
