6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout went 2-for-3, including his 12th home run of the season, in the Angels 7-6 win over the Rangers on Sunday. Trout smoked a pitch clear over the center field fence to get the Angels on the board in the first inning. After a minor offensive lull following his return from a groin injury, the Trout that fantasy owners have come to love is back in full force. He now has an extra-base hit in seven of his last nine games, posting three home runs and five doubles during that span. His OPS for the season now stands at a very robust 1.045 and is slugging a fantastic .615 in the month of May.
