Mike Williams Returns Against Saints On Monday

4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (hamstring) has been deemed active for Monday’s contest versus New Orleans. Williams last suited up Week 3 due to a hamstring injury, with his return presenting rookie quarterback Justin Herbert with yet another weapon in the passing game. Williams’ fantasy outlook has slid since a nine-target Week 1 outing, steadily declining in role in the passing game since. After leading the league in yards per reception (20.4) in 2019, Williams presents a roll of the dice fantasy selection for those managers who waited on his status. Keenan Allen still figures to retain a sizable role, having developed a considerable rapport with Herbert to this point.--Jesse Borek
