3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (COVID-19) is currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list after being in close contact with fellow wide receiver Keenan Allen (COVID-19) who is also on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Williams is reportedly unvaccinated and has tested negative throughout the week, but will need to continue to do so until Saturday in order to be eligible for an intriguing matchup versus the New York Giants in Week 14. The Giants secondary has really struggled this season and are allowing 150 yards and a touchdown per game to wide receivers. There is no guarantee that Allen or Williams will suit up on Sunday, but if Allen is out and Williams suits up, big things could be coming his way as the top wide receiver option. More should be known about his status prior to Sunday, but managers should consider looking at Jalen Guyton or rookie Josh Palmer as a backup option if Williams is unable to dress this weekend. If Allen is out and Williams suits up, managers should consider him as a WR2 option. If both Allen and Williams dress, Williams will be more of a WR3 with upside.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
