3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams will look to continue his career year in Week 8 versus the New England Patriots. Williams has been a beast this year and has elevated himself as the top option for quarterback Justin Herbert with 33 receptions for 498 yards and six touchdowns in six games. The injury prone receiver had been dealing a knee injury and almost missed Week 6, but he has had time to rest and recover with the team having a bye week in Week 7 and has practiced in full this week. It's very encouraging news for managers and he should continue to have WR1 upside against a Patriots secondary that has allowed seven touchdowns to wide receivers and has been giving up 172 yards per game to the position. One of the best bargains of the season, managers should continue to enjoy the success they are getting from the big receiver.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
