7 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Mike Zunino (oblique) is taking swings in the cage and could take part in a simulated game soon, per MLB.com. Zunino is dealing with a minor oblique strain, so the Mariners are being cautious to not rush him back. But he appears to be feeling better and could see at-bats in a simulated game as early as Tuesday. When he returns, he should see the lion's share of the playing time behind the plate. Zunino hit 25 home runs with a .251 batting average last season in 387 at-bats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
