6 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Mike Zunino has six hits over his last 20 at-bats heading into the Mariners series opener against the Astros in Houston. Zunino is hitting .237 in the month of September, which is a vast improvement in production at the plate in contrast to other months this season. It has been a disaster of a season for the once highly-touted catcher so finishing up the season strong will go a long way in helping Zunino land a roster spot next season. Zunino has hit the ball hardest away from Safeco Field this season and is slugging .481 in 53 road games. Zunino's high strikeout totals take him out of fantasy consideration for the rest of 2018.--Joey C - RotoBaller
