6 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Mike Zunino went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his return to the lineup on Sunday against the White Sox. Zunino has been recovering from a sprained ankle and provides a shot of power to the catching position in the Mariners offense. The problem with Zunino is his incrediblly high whiff rate and is slashing .186/.247/.395. Zunino's 12 home runs is offset by a staggering 87 strikeouts in only 205 at-bats and is slugging only .271 over his last 48 plate appearances. Zunino is a drain for most fantasy rosters but could help teams with two-catcher formats and in AL-only leagues.--Joey C - RotoBaller
