7 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Mike Zunino continues to do what he does best: hit home runs and strike out. Zunino hit his fourth home run of season on Saturday, his first since April 27. Since that game in April, however, he has struck out 13 times over his last 22 at-bats. Zunino is hitting only .180 with a .241 on-base percentage despite a .460 slugging. The Mariners catcher always has had the potential for big-time power but really struggles with consistency and contact. Zunino could easily lead all catchers in home runs this season, but fantasy owners need to weigh the one-dimensional nature of his offensive game before he gets a long-term look in a fantasy lineup.--Joey C - RotoBaller
