6 years agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Mikko Koskinen is the projected starter for Monday's game against the Buffalo Sabres. Koskinen was rock solid in his last outing on Saturday, making 30 saves in a 4-0 shutout of the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Finnish netminder has an 18-15-4 record on the season to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. Koskinen beat the Sabres earlier in the season, making 41 saves in a 7-2 win on January 14. He has won two starts in a row while the Sabres have dropped three of their past four contests.
