Miles Mikolas Added To NL All-Star Team
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas has been added to the 2022 National League All-Star roster as a replacement for Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Corbin Burnes, who will be inactive for Tuesday's game in Los Angeles. Mikolas picked up a win in his final start of the first half of the season on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds by giving up just one run in seven innings to even his record at 7-7. The 33-year-old right-hander finished the first half with three straight quality starts, and overall he has posted a strong 2.54 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 92 strikeouts and 23 walks in 120 1/3 innings pitched over his 19 starts for the Red Birds.
