Miles Mikolas Expects To Start Bullpen Sessions By All-Star Break
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (elbow) told reporters on Saturday that he expects to be throwing bullpen sessions by the All-Star break if "all goes well from here," per beat writer Derrick S. Goold. He would then go on a rehab assignment around late July or early August before he's ready to rejoin the club. The 32-year-old right-hander is dealing with flexor tendon and shoulder issues and has been limited to just four innings this season. The team should provide an update on his progress sometime around the All-Star break but Mikolas is a fantasy afterthought for now.
