4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (shoulder) faced live batters on Sunday in a simulated game/live batting practice scenario. Mikolas reportedly only threw fastballs and changeups, but "felt good" after his first time facing live hitters since February. He'll pitch another live batting practice soon and mix in some breaking balls as well, then proceed to a more traditional rehab pattern. Mikolas is still a few weeks away from taking the mound for the Cardinals even if everything goes as planned.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
