6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas had a pretty solid outing, but he wasn't able to go very deep or factor into the decision. He only gave up two runs, and he now has a 2.82 ERA. Mikolas also gave up six hits and two walks. He still has a 10-3 record this year as one of the most surprising players on the St. Louis Cardinals roster. His 6.44 K/9 is nothing special, but he's able to induce ground balls and he has a 75.7 percent left-on-base rate. This helps keep his ERA low and ultimately leads to him getting wins.--Blake Sullivan
