4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (elbow) is not expected to be able to rejoin the team until August at the earliest. Cardinals President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak said that August was the "best case" scenario for Mikolas, meaning that he'd have to experience no further setbacks. Mikolas made just one appearance this season, coming off the injured list for a start and going right back on it afterwards. He is undergoing stem cell therapy in an attempt to repair a small calcification in his flexor tendon without undergoing surgery. Mikolas does not need to be taking up an IL spot on your fantasy roster at this point.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
