Miles Mikolas Takes Loss in Quality Start Wednesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas was solid once again on Wednesday, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk in six innings while striking out four batters. Unfortunately, he didn't receive any run support from the offense, and he was assigned his seventh loss of the season against five wins. Mikolas has been the definition of steady this season, recording 11 quality starts in 17 attempts with a 2.72 ERA and 0.99 WHIP. The only thing keeping him from being a top-end fantasy starter is his inability to miss more bats, but he's a stabilizing force for any fantasy manager who roster him.
