4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds. Mikolas hasn't pitched in a game since early in spring training, but he's been facing hitters for a couple of weeks and his shoulder has responded well. Mikolas had an elbow injury first, but when that healed he may have injured his shoulder in an attempt to keep his elbow healthy. When he's ready, Mikolas will return to the Cardinals rotation and should be a solid back-of-the-rotation type of arm. He could be back by the middle of May.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
