3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running backs Miles Sanders (ankle) and Jordan Howard (knee) were both limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day. Sanders aggravated his ankle in Week 13 before the bye, but he had 27 touches for 142 total yards and should be able to suit up this weekend against the Washington Football Team. The 24-year-old should be the team's lead back, but with Howard looking likely to make his return for the first time since Week 11, there is the potential for more disappointment against a Washington defense that will be short-handed due to COVID-19. Sanders still hasn't scored a touchdown in 2021. Boston Scott, Howard and quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle) could take rushing opportunities away from Sanders, making him more of an RB3/flex.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
