3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders has always has upside to spare, but the way the Eagles have used him and say they will continue to use him this season severely limits his upside. Combine that with a Week 1 matchup against a Falcons defense that was fourth against opposing running backs last season, and you see why Sanders is checking in somewhere in the bottom half of the RB2 ranks. If the Eagles were to commit to an every-down role for Sanders, he'd be a weekly RB1 and could perhaps even approach the top-tier conversation. But as they seem committed to have a rotation in the backfield, Sanders simply won't see enough volume to put up the numbers of the guys ahead of him in the rankings. Still, he's always a threat for a big play, and if you drafted him, it's not like he'll be on your bench. He's the RB20 for Week 1.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
