Miles Sanders Working With Second-Team Offense
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders is getting carries with the second-team offense in training camp practice on Friday. Perhaps this is exactly why Sanders warned fantasy managers not to draft him this year. He was limited to just 12 games in 2021 due to injuries after he produced 1,327 scrimmage yards in his rookie season. The 25-year-old was efficient when he touched the ball last year, but his usage was inconsistent and he failed to find the end zone. It sounds like the Eagles will continue rotating backs alongside Sanders with Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell. On top of it, quarterback Jalen Hurts is one of the best rushing QBs in the league. Using an RB2 selection on Sanders is a risky proposition.
