Milwaukee Brewers Leaning Towards Temporary Four Man Rotation
7 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers are leaning towards a four-man rotation to start the season after the recent injuries to Wade Miley and Boone Logan, allowing another spot on the 25-man roster to be used for a position player. The first three members of the Brewers rotation are pretty set-in-stone with Chase Anderson, Zach Davies, and Jhoulys Chacin in place. Jimmy Nelson will also be inked into the rotation when he returns from injury. However, there are questions as to who the fourth or a potential fifth man would be to open the season with. Most likely to earn the spot would be Brent Suter, however, other options are Junior Guerra or Brandon Woodruff. Once Miley returns from injury in a predicted eight days, the Brewers will then most likely switch to a five-man rotation. If this four-man rotation is placed into action, expect two starts from Anderson, Davies, and Chacin in the first two weeks of action.
