4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver finally broke out of his 2-for-15 funk with a second-inning home run off Aaron Civale. The baseball gods smiled upon Garver, as he popped up foul down the right-field line but the Indians were unable to make a play on the ball. The 29-year-old clubbed the next pitch 412 feet into the left-field bleachers at an exit velocity of 102.2 MPH. Garver should have a good chance of staying warm with three contests coming up against the Pirates' depleted pitching staff.--Tim Capurso
