4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is on the bench for Sunday's tilt versus Royals right-hander Brady Singer. Alex Avila is batting ninth and calling signs behind the plate in the series finale. Garver is off to a sluggish start, hitting .094 with one homer and 15 strikeouts in 40 plate appearances. After cranking 31 bombs a season ago, owners should remain patient with the 29-year-old since his price came at a mid-round value. There's also not much out there in two-catcher leagues, but he may become droppable in single-catcher leagues if the strikeouts persist.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
