Mitch Garver Homers In Second Straight Game
5 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver went 1-for-5 with a solo homer in a 6-5 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. The young backstop's home run was a leadoff shot off Milwaukee lefty Gio Gonzalez. Garver has now hit homers in two straight games, giving him 23 on the season. He has taken a massive step forward this season, hitting .266 with a .960 OPS, 49 runs, and 50 RBI. He has firmly established himself as a top-six fantasy catcher with his excellent hitting for the Twins.
