4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver (finger) is back in the lineup for Monday's game against the Pirates. Garver fouled a ball off his left finger in Thursday's Grapefruit League game, though the Twins didn't believe it to be a serious ailment at the time- and his quick return to action supports that sentiment. The 30-year-old backstop has five hits and one home run in 10 spring games. Garver is back on track to be behind the plate on Opening Day against the Brewers- though a difficult matchup awaits against ace Brandon Woodruff, who has been especially tough on right-handed batters in his career.--Tim Capurso
