6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger clubbed a leadoff homer to start the game Monday night versus Oakland. He finished the night going 1-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout as his big fly put him in double-digits with 10 on the year. It's been a disappointing season average-wise for Haniger hitting just .229 on the year as he's seen his K% elevate to a worrisome 27.7%. Thankfully, he's second in the AL in runs (34) and has four steals to go along with 22 RBI to keep fantasy owners happy. Expect Haniger to iron out his batting average after hitting over .280 in each of the last two seasons, but it may come at the expense of the added power this season.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
