3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (ankle) has been cleared to begin hitting in the batting cage. This is encouraging news as Haniger works his way back from a Grade 2 ankle sprain. He has not done any running yet, which is likely one of the final steps in his recovery process. The hope is that Haniger is able to return to the starting lineup by the end of the month.
