Mitch Haniger Hits A Two Run Shot Monday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger went deep yet again on Monday. His two-run shot came in the bottom of the eighth inning off Orioles reliever Tanner Scott, and pulled the Mariners within two, though they would fail to complete the comeback. It was Haniger's eighth big fly of the year, and he now sits just one off of J.D. Martinez's league-leading nine home runs. Haniger now boasts a robust .563 slugging percentage for the season, and according to Statcast, that's very much to be expected. There's no reason to believe he's slowing down. Fantasy managers who drafted Haniger have to be overjoyed at their wisdom and good fortune.
