Mitch Haniger Hits Two-Run Bomb Wednesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk against the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday. It was Haniger's 18th long ball of the season. Before June 27, Haniger had been on a 12-game homer drought, and he's now hit two in his last three contests. Fantasy managers who have stuck by Haniger over his last month's struggles are surely pleased with the recent results, and there's no reason to believe he won't continue to swing a steady bat, as evidenced by his .800 OPS on the season.
