Mitch Haniger Hitting .162 Since May 22
6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger is 7-for-43 (.162) since May 22, driving his batting average from .296 to .270. Haniger still leads the team with 12 home runs and 42 runs batted in but has certainly cooled off over the last month or so. The young hitter still has to prove to fantasy owners that he can be consistent for a full season, but currently he is one of the most talented hitters in the Mariners lineup. He still is posting an OPS of .871, a .512 slugging percentage and is hitting .302 with runners in scoring position. Haniger is en route to a possible first All-Star appearance and will need to fight through this lull at the plate to keep up his fantasy value.
