Mitch Haniger Not Likely To Return This Season
5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (back) will remain shut down from his rehab assignment due to back tightness and all indications point to the 28-year-old missing the remainder of the season. It has been a very tough year for Haniger, who only managed to appear in 63 games with totals of 15 home runs, 32 RBI, 46 runs, and a .220 batting average. In early June, Haniger was placed on the 10-day injured list with a ruptured testicle, for which he later underwent surgery. The 28-year-old should only be owned in deep dynasty formats and will look to bounce back next season.
