4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger remains out of the lineup Thursday as the team is taking things cautiously with Haniger, according to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times. Manager Scott Servais said that it was his decision to keep Haniger out of the lineup for one more game, despite the fact Haniger wanted to return Thursday. Haniger was scratched from the lineup Wednesday as Servais said that he wasn't feeling 100 percent, and so the team wanted to limit the risk of greater injury. He has done well at the plate early on this year, slashing .268/.305/.515 with five home runs, 17 RBI and 17 runs scored in 24 games.
