Mitch Haniger Placed On The 10-Day Injured List
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday. He sustained a high-ankle sprain during Friday's loss to the Miami Marlins. After being recently activated from the COVID-19 IL on Friday, the 31-year-old is set to miss weeks. Haniger was off to a slow start, slashing .200/.222/.486 with three home runs and seven RBI over nine games in 2022. Dylan Moore should see an uptick in at-bats while Haniger is sidelined and is a speculative add in deep-league formats. Moore popped 12 homers and swiped 21 bags but slashed an abysmal .181/.276/.334 over 377 plate appearances in 2021.
