Mitch Haniger Reinstated From The 60-Day Injured List
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (ankle) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list on Saturday. The 31-year-old had been sidelined since April 29 due to a Grade 2 right ankle sprain. He slashed .200/.222/.486 with three home runs, seven RBI, and three runs over nine games before landing on the injured list. He will be Seattle's primary right fielder moving forward and should be rostered in all league formats now that Haninger has returned to action. Haniger hit .267 with three home runs, eight RBI, six runs, and 10 walks with a 1.055 OPS over 11 games during his rehab assignment. Abraham Toro was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move.
