Mitch Haniger Scores Twice Wednesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger crossed the plate twice Wednesday despite going 0-for-3 in a 5-4 loss to the New York Yankees. After an excellent start to the season, Haniger has had some tough sledding of late, slashing just .231/.285/.355 with four home runs over his last 30 games. That has sunk his season OPS all the way down to a somewhat pedestrian .775. Despite this slide, Haniger still offers plenty of counting stats, as his 18 home runs, 55 runs scored, and 47 RBI are all solid totals, and fantasy managers can be sure those numbers will continue to climb with Haniger a lock in the two-spot for Seattle.
