7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (hand) will be held out of spring games for a few days due to a sore hand. The Mariners are just being extra cautious early in camp. Haniger only played in 96 games in 2017 due to various injuries, but when he was on the field, he played well, hitting .281 with 16 dingers and 47 RBI in 369 at-bats. The slugger has so far fared much better against right-handed pitchers, and if he can keep his 11.2 percent walk rate from the first half of last year, he could do some real damage for his fantasy owners.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
