7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (hand) will hit live batting practice against relief pitcher Nick Vincent on Saturday, and he could be cleared to participate in spring games after that. Injuries have been the problem so far for Haniger in his two seasons in the big leagues, but he's been adequate for fantasy owners when healthy, batting .281 with 16 homers and 47 RBI in 96 games last year. He still has plenty to prove before he's a fixture in mixed league lineups, but he should be ready for Opening Day, barring any setbacks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
