6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger is really struggling at the plate right now and is 2-for-21 over his last seven games. He currently is hitting only .197 in the month of July and has zero extra-base hits since playing in his first All-Star game. Haniger has been a pleasant surprise in fantasy circles this season and is slugging .465 with 18 home runs and 68 runs batted in. He has, however, homered only twice since June 14 and his slugging percentage has dropped almost 60 points during that span. Haniger this season has been dangerous at the plate every other month thus far and, right now, July appears to be a down month. He will have a tough matchup Monday night against Astros starter Gerrit Cole.--Joey C - RotoBaller
