6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller has been sent back to Triple-A following the reinstatement of starter Trevor Williams. Keller struggled through the first three starts of his big league career, allowing 14 earned runs through just 12 innings. His 10.50 ERA doesn't paint the entire picture, though, as the 23-year-old did have some bad luck, evidenced by his .513 BABIP and 3.25 FIP. He did strike out 15 batters as well. Keller could very well prove to become a solid mixed-league contributor but looks like he needs some more time in the minors before gaining fantasy owners' trust. The Pirates top prospect has all the tools to make it happen, though.--Joseph Magazzinich
