6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner had a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Marner now has three goals and seven assists through his first five games. The supremely skilled winger had 22 goals and 47 assists last season and seems to have gotten even better with another summer of training. Marner is part of the best power-play unit in the league and plays on a line with Zach Hyman and John Tavares.
