5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Mitchell Marner recorded his third consecutive multi-point performance on Thursday, finishing a 4-2 loss to Calgary with a goal and an assist. John Tavares also had a goal and an assist in the game. Marner returned from injury on Dec. 4 with a dud against Colorado, but he's been lights out since then. The Leafs have a very good schedule coming up against teams with very leaky defenses, so we can expect Marner to continue his good run. Saturday's clash with the Oilers is particularly juicy, as Dave Tippett's team has given up 21 goals in the last five games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
