3 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Mitch Moreland went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a loss to the Red Sox on Thursday. Moreland batted in the two-hole for the first time this season as he's been heating up on the A's current road trip. Moreland has hits in five of his last six games and has cut his strikeout rate to 18 percent after whiffing over 23 percent of the time in April. He'll sit occasionally versus lefties so he's not a must-roster player in fantasy, but he's got a hot bat and has solid matchups on the docket this weekend in Minnesota.
