7 years agoBoston Red Sox first basemen Mitch Moreland will take over the full-time role now that Hanley Ramirez has been designated for assignment, according to Christopher Smith of MassLive.com. In a time share, Moreland has hit seven homers and 22 RBI and carries a slash line of .311/.390/.612. While he has mostly started against right-handers, he is only batting .240 against lefties.
