3 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Mitch Moreland went 1-for-4 with his fifth homer of the season Wednesday in Seattle. Moreland launched a two-run shot off of Chris Flexen that Statcast measured at 444 feet. The veteran Moreland slugged over .500 each of the last two seasons, but is slugging just .406 so far this season. He's been playing less often as Oakland has rotated other players into the DH spot while Matt Olson has the first base job on lockdown. Moreland doesn't have much fantasy value aside from a cheap source of power in DFS when he is in the lineup facing a righty.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
