6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland is starting at first base and is batting fifth in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series against Astros starter Justin Verlander. Steve Pearce will start on the bench. It will be Moreland's first start since tweaking his hamstring in Game 2 of the Division Series, although he has one hit in four plate appearances in the ALCS. The left-handed hitter is 11-for-38 with six doubles, seven RBI, seven walks and 13 strikeouts in his career against Verlander, but he'll still be weak DFS play.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
