6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland has endured a mighty struggle throughout the past weeks. After a hot start to the season, the 32-year-old is batting just .170 over his past 15 games. With that being said, Moreland had an offensive outburst on Tuesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. He was 1-for-4 with two runs scored, a home run, four RBI, and a walk. The exposure to that fantastic Red Sox lineup is an alluring proclamation for fantasy owners, but Moreland's difficulties have made rostering him difficult in shallow leagues. He does have six RBI and two homers in his past three games so perhaps a hot streak is forthcoming.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
