4 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman/designated hitter Mitch Moreland will take over DH duties for Game 2 of Thursday’s wild-card series versus the Cardinals and right-hander Adam Wainwright. While Moreland delivered an .894 OPS during the regular season overall, he had just a .609 mark in 20 contests after being acquired by the Padres at the Trade Deadline. With 17 of his 30 hits against righties this year going for extra bases en route to a .586 SLG, Moreland should see considerable DFS intrigue.--Jesse Borek
