6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland left Tuesday's game in the second inning due to a series of back spasms on Tuesday. Unsurprisingly, the 32-year-old is out of the lineup on Wednesday. Steve Pearce will take over the duties at first base. Moreland has been fairly consistent throughout the season, as he has a solid .288 average, 11 home runs and 40 RBI through 69 games. He is a serviceable first base option playing on a loaded Red Sox team. He should be back in the lineup soon.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
