Mitch Trubisky Has Revenge Against Chicago
3 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Mitch Trubisky received the start at quarterback for Saturday's preseason matchup against the Chicago Bears. Let's be honest, it was a meaningless preseason game, but it was important to Trubisky. The former second overall pick was let go by the Bears after the 2020 season. On Saturday, Trubisky showed the Bears that maybe they gave up on him too soon. He completed 20-of-28 passing attempts for 221 yards and one touchdown in the 41-15 victory. It was an epic outing for Trubisky, but that won't change his status on the roster. He'll obviously remain the backup to superstar Josh Allen and will likely only play if Allen gets injured. Despite that, Trubisky was able to get revenge versus his old team, so at least he was able to do that.
