4 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Mitchell Marner picked up a hat trick of assists in Saturday's 5-1 win over Vancouver, reaching 14 helpers for the year. Wayne Simmonds and Auston Matthews each scored twice and Zach Hyman got on the scoresheet as well. Marner had a plus-three rating in the game with three shots and one hit. He led all Leafs forwards with 21:41 of ice time. The 23-year-old now has 20 points for the season, which places him third on the league's scoring list.
